We meet the third Wednesday of each month at sites around Tarrant County. We vary the times of our meetings so family members have an opportunity to attend when their schedules permit.

Admission, Review, and Dismissal; The ARD Process

Are you the parent of a school-age child with special needs? Do you want to be your child’s advocate at school, but unsure about how the ARD process works?

This workshop will provide an overview of the ARD process so that parents will be prepared to participate at every stage of the process. Participants will gain an understanding of the ARD meeting agends, as well as their procedural rights and responsibilities.

This FREE community class is held in partnership with The PATH Project.

Please make childcare arrangements.

Brown bag lunch: Please feel free to bring your lunch. We will have drinks and dessert.  

Childcare is not provided at this time.

Family Connection of Tarrant County is a group of parents and others who care about children with mental health struggles. Its vision is to connect and empower families as well as provide family voice to improve the mental health system in Tarrant County.  Monthly FREE educational workshops are offered monthly.
