We meet the third Wednesday of each month at sites around Tarrant County. We vary the times of our meetings so family members have an opportunity to attend when their schedules permit.

QPR – Question, Persuade, and Refer – is a free, suicide prevention training designed to give every person in our community the confidence and competence to help someone at risk for suicide.

Parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, ministers, doctors, nurses, office supervisors, squad leaders, foremen, police officers, advisors, caseworkers, firefighters, and other community members – anyone can learn these 3 simple steps that teach you how to recognize the warning signs, offer hope and get help

Family Connection of Tarrant County is a group of parents and others who care about children with mental health struggles. Its vision is to connect and empower families to improve the mental health system in Tarrant County.  FREE educational workshops are offered monthly and anyone is welcome to attend. Beginners Yoga for Parents and Youth w/ Mental Health Struggles

There are certain principles that should be applied to all styles and types of yoga. These foundational principles are oftentimes glossed over in a class setting. This beginners yoga series will cover the foundations of yoga. This series will include:

- A brief introduction to yoga
- An explanation of how yoga works
- Basic principles that can be applied to all styles of yoga
- An introduction to yogic breathing
- How to do some of the most common yoga poses properly
- How to do a sun salutation and ways to modify it

We have mats and props!

Class size is limited. Childcare is not available.
